Forewing: 4 to 5mm
Habitats: Damp acid woodland, heathland and high moorland.
Habits: The moth flies in the day during sunshine. It feeds on the pollen of sedges and herbaceous plants.
Foodplant: The larvae possibly feed on the young growth of Bilberry. A single larva has been found in oak and Beech litter amongst fungal hyphae.
