Habitats: Orchards, woodland, gardens or wherever apple trees are present.

Habits:

Foodplant: A gallery mine with uneven deposits of linear frass in an Apple leaf. The mine widens in varying amounts and occasionally widens into a secondary blotch. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
