Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a frass filled, clear gallery mine in the leaf of a rose, including Burnet Rose. It often follows the leaf margin then makes a turn in the opposite direction. The frass later becoming more linear. The summer generation pupates on a leaf or at the base of a leaf stalk.
