Habitats: Heathland, dry and damp pastures and marshes.
Habits: The moth rests low down on vegetation or on the ground during the day. It flies from mid afternoon into the evening. It later comes to light.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded. The larva possibly mines a stem of Sheep's-sorrel.
