Habits: The moth sits on the flower-heads of scabious during the day and flies in sunshine.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on the seeds then probably the lower leaves of Field Scabious or Small Scabious. It may also feed from a case of leaf fragments on leaf litter around the base of the plant. It pupates in the case on the ground.
