Forewing: 8 to 8.5mm

Habitats: Sheltered moorland, wooded heathland.

Habits: The moth flies in the early morning and possibly later in the day.

Foodplant: The early stages are unknown in Britain and Ireland. It has has been associated with Bilberry and is thought to feed from a case on the dead leaves.
