Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain. On the European mainland it is recorded as feeding in a folded leaf of Blackthorn where it eats all the parenchyma and leaves the leaf looking white and conspicuous. It pupates within the folded leaf in a white cocoon near the leaf tip or on the midrib.
