Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a mine on the underside of a leaf of Wayfaring Tree or sometimes Guelder Rose or Laurustinus and rarely on Rowan. Several larvae are often found together causing distortion of the leaf. The second generation overwinters in the mine. It pupates in a silk lined chamber without frass present.
