Habitats: Wherever the foodplants are found.
Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on the leaves of apples, Hawthorn and Cotoneaster spp. from within a slight web. It pupates in a boat shaped cocoon spun in the leaf litter or under loose bark.
