Forewing: 6.5 to 7.5mm

Habitats: Dry pasture, verges, wasteland and coastal grassland.

Habits: The moth flies at sunset and later comes to light.

Foodplant: The larva at first bores a shoot of Large Bitter-cress or Hoary Cress. It then spins the young shoots and later feeds on the underside of the leaves, peppering them with small holes.
