Habitats: Deciduous woodland, lower mountain slopes and glens.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a blotch mine on a leaf of Bitter-vetch or Red Clover. The frass is at first in the centre, but later diffused throughout. It pupates in a white cocoon spun to a leaf or in the leaf litter.
