Habitats: Gardens, herb gardens and an apothecaries' garden.

Habits: Although only known from Britain the species is thought to be Asian. It is continuously brooded in the correct conditions.

Foodplant: The larva mines a leaf of Fringed Rue or Common Rue. It then feeds in a spun shoot.
