Habitats: Deciduous woodland.
Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain, but on the European mainland the larva feeds on lichens on trunks of Beech and Acacia spp. It probably pupates amongst the lichen on the trunks.
