Habits: The moth can be disturbed on warm afternoons in the spring.
Foodplant: The larva spins a radical leaf of Burnet-saxifrage so that it folds or rolls. It sometimes moves to the higher shoots. On the European mainland it is also recorded on Wild Carrot, Longleaf and Greater Water-parsnip. It pupates in the earth or in the leaf litter.
