Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva mines a broad full depth gallery with broad lobed blotches, alongside the main veins of a Hop leaf. The larva hides in the main gallery which it lines with silk. The ejected frass may be trapped in the silk web below the mine. It overwinters in a cocoon where it pupates in May.
