Habits: The moth can be swept from its foodplant during the day. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The early stages are not recorded in Britain and Ireland. On the European mainland it is thought that the larva spins a shoot of Common Bird's-foot Trefoil. It may also feed on Broom. It pupates in the leaf litter.
