Similar species:
Forewing: 7 to 7.5mm
Habitats: Marshes, fens and other wetland sites.
Habits: The moth flies at dusk and later comes to light.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain. On the European mainland it is said to make a large full depth blotch mine on Flag Iris and is often associated with plants under willows.
