Forewing: 6 to 7mm
Habitats: The one colony is in a large freshwater reed-bed, but single records have come from a mixed reed-bed, a rough coastal meadow and grassland. It is associated with damp meadows in Denmark.
Habits: The moth comes to light.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain. In Denmark, the larva mines the stem of Amphibious Bistort. A small hole the only indication of its presence.
