Habits: The moth makes low, short, fast flights in afternoon sunshine. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds from a silk gallery from the soil to the basal leaves of Sheep's-sorrel. It may also spin a tube up the stem to higher leaves. It pupates in the lower part of the larval tube under the soil.
