Habits: The moth sits openly on the foodplants during the day and swarms in sunshine.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on the sporangia of Soft Shield Fern and probably Hard Fern. It feeds from a silk tube joining the sporangia on the underside of a leaf. It pupates away from the feeding site.
