Habitats: Chalk and limestone grassland.
Habits: The moth was last recorded in Britain in 1939.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on the leaves and shoots of Common Rock-rose. It does this from a silk tube extending along the stems and down into the moss and leaf litter. It pupates in late May within a silk cocoon in the leaf litter.
