Habits: The moth flies in the early evening in warm weather. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on Mossy Saxifrage. The young larva mines a leaf before overwintering in a leaf-bud. In the spring it feeds within an unopened leaf-bud, but may feed externally in the last instar. It pupates either on the foodplant or on adjacent vegetation.
