Habitats: It prefers hot dry habitats.
Habits: One moth was found in Devon in July 2008.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. On the European mainland it is known to feed in a stem of Rock Samphire or Whorled Caraway where the full-fed larva overwinters and then pupates in April.
