Habits: The moth is active throughout the day and night, often in large numbers. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The larva mines the stems of Compact Rush, other rushes, Common Club-rush, Deergrass and Galingale. It pupates in a flimsy cocoon in the stem of the foodplant.
