Similar species: Unlike the majority of the Dichrorampha spp. this species does not have a leading edge fold. Dichrorampha plumbana and Dichrorampha sedatana also lack the leading edge fold. Check genitalia.
Forewing: 5.5 to 7.5mm
Habitats: Grassland, rough ground and gardens.
Habits: The male flies in warm afternoon sunshine and both sexes fly late in the evening and occasionally come to light.
Foodplant: The larva feeds in the roots of Ox-eye Daisy. It pupates in the soil, spun to a root.
