Habits: The moth can be disturbed in the day. It comes to light and sugar.

Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. In the Middle East it has been recorded feeding on Water Fern Azolla filiculoides. Pupation took place on a dried Water Fern or on the mud at the edge of the water.
