Habits: The moth is easily disturbed from grasses in the day. It comes to light.
Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain and Ireland. On the European mainland it lives in a vertical silk tube at the base of a stem of Cock's-foot Grass and probably other grasses.
