Habitats: On the European mainland it frequents warm scrubby slopes and similar open sunny places.
Habits: The moth comes to light and nectars at Tobacco and Honeysuckle flowers.
Foodplant: The larva feeds on Oleander and Lesser Periwinkle and accepts privet in captivity. Wild larvae are rare in Britain.
