Forewing: 12 to 15mm
Habitats: Coastal woodland and other coastal sites. The moth has colonised along the south coast of England from Dorset to West Sussex.
Habits: The moth comes to light
Foodplant: The larva probably feeds on Evergreen Oak as it does on the European mainland. A British larva was recorded on a myrtle Myrtus spp. In captivity it will take the young leaves of Pendunculate Oak and privets.
On the European mainland it has also been recorded from Common Myrtle, Strawberry Tree and rock-roses Cistus spp.
