Forewing: 10 to 13mm

Habitats: Coastal calcareous downland, sea-cliffs, sand-dunes, vegetated shingle, grassland scrub and fens.

Habits: The moth visits flowers such as Common Ragwort and Marram. It also comes to sugar and light.
