Immigrant

Similar species: This moth is fairly distinctive as it looks like a very pale male Shuttle-shaped Dart Agrotis puta which is noticeably smaller (12 to 16mm).

Forewing: 15 to 17mm

Habitats: Its natural habitats are sparsely vegetated, arid slopes. A desert species.

Habits: The moth comes to light. Two British records of this Middle East to Canary Isles species. One male at light on 22nd November 1995 near Camborne, Cornwall, one male found at rest in the day on 16th December 2015, Poole, Dorset.

Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain. In its natural habitat the polyphagous larva has been recorded feeding on a variety of unspecified herbaceous plants.
