Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a narrow gallery mine filled with rufous frass in a leaf of Hawthorn. The mine usually follows the leaf margin before forming a pale yellow blotch containing black frass at a right angle to the gallery. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
