Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a gallery mine that makes several hairpin turns from the base of a leaf of Hawthorn. This usually results in a secondary blotch (with dispersed frass) formed from the hairpin turns. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter or just under the soil.
