Habits: The moth rests on a trunk during the day.
Foodplant: The larvae make a strongly contorted gallery mine forming a green island in a leaf of Pedunculate Oak and possibly other deciduous oaks. There are sometimes several mines in a leaf. It pupates in a cocoon in the leaf litter.
