Habitats: Deciduous woodland.

Habits:

Foodplant: The larva forms a short contorted gallery mine in a leaf of Sessile Oak, Pedunculate Oak and possibly other oaks. The mine widens at the end becoming an upper-surface blotch with two lines of frass at the edges.
