Habits: The moth flies around the foodplant until late morning, after which it rests on the lower branches.
Foodplant: The early stages are not fully recorded. The larva is thought to feed on Dog Rose and other roses, probably in the flowers and hips. After hibernation it feeds in the buds or bores down the stem of a shoot. It pupates in the feeding place.
