Habits: The moth flies low over the ground at dusk.
Foodplant: The larva lives in a frass-dotted spinning on the ground while feeding on dead leaves, dead flowers and detritus dropped from Hairy Green-weed and Bell Heather. It pupates in a cocoon covered in frass, soil and plant debris.
