Habits:
Foodplant: The larva at first mines a narrow gallery leading to a blotch between the veins of a leaf of Pedunculate Oak, Sessile Oak, Holm Oak and occasionally Sweet Chestnut. It then inhabits a small fold on the leaf margin. It later forms at least two successive cones on the tips of terminal leaves. Pupation takes place under a membrane under the leaf.
