Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a very small mine (less than 10mm) on the underside of an oak leaf. It is located at the edge of a lobe which causes numerous creases on the lower surface and the lobe to fold over. It pupates in a white cocoon occupying most of the mine with the frass stacked beside it.
