Habits:
Foodplant: The larva mines a gallery on the underside of an oak leaf. It starts from the midrib and is placed between lateral veins and sometimes two or three larvae feed alongside each other. There is often a central crease on the underside. It pupates in a white frass lined cocoon attached to the upperside of the mine.
