Habitats: Deciduous woodland, orchards and gardens.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a mine between two veins on the underside of an apple leaf. The leaf is less contorted and shorter than that of Phyllonorycter hostis. It pupates in a white silk-lined chamber without frass.
