Habitats: Mainly coastal grassland, embankments and verges.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms an underside mine stretching across the whole leaflet of clovers or Common Restharrow. The leaflet margins curve downwards due to the contraction of the mine which disappears into the fold. The upper surface has a bleached appearance.
