Habitats: Deciduous woodland.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a long narrow underside mine between two veins which stretches from the midrib of an oak leaf. Oak seedlings are often preferred. Where several mines are present the leaf becomes strongly contorted and raised to a point on the upper surface.
