Habits:
Foodplant: The larva forms a mine on the underside of a Hazel leaf. It is usually between two side veins against or close to the midrib. The upper surface of the mine is bowed and has flecks of green remaining. The underside of the mine is green unlike the brown under surface of a Parornix devoniella mine.
