Forewing: 3.5 to 4mm

Habitats: Deciduous woodland and parkland.

Habits:

Foodplant: The larva forms a greyish white mine which is usually in the centre of the under surface of a Norway Maple leaf. The underside of the mine has many weak folds. The upper surface of the mine remains green until the larva is almost mature. There are often several mines in a leaf.
