Foodplant: The early stages have not been recorded in Britain. In the east Mediterranean area the larva bores into the spun terminal buds of Olive and occasionally Silverberry. It later spins a small web and feeds on the developing fruit and tips of young shoots. It pupates in a dense white cocoon either on a leaf or on bark.
