Habitats: The lower slopes of mountains, with rocky outcrops and scree.
Habits:
Foodplant: Several larvae feed under a silk web causing white blotch mines on the lower rosette leaves of Yellow Mountain Saxifrage, Mossy Saxifrage, Opposite-leaved Saxifrage, Kidney Saxifrage and St. Patrick's-cabbage. The older larva feeds beneath a web. It pupates in silk on the plant.
