Habits: Female moths fly in evening sunshine. The males come to light. The moth was rediscovered in 2015.
Foodplant: The young larva makes a long, irregular gallery (sometimes a blotch) in one of the basal leaves of Grass-of-Parnassus. The older larva lives in a white silk tube at the base of the plant. It pupates in the leaf litter
