Similar species:

Forewing: 5.5 to 8mm

Habitats: As an abundant Immigrant it has no particular habitat, but otherwise it is found where its foodplants are present.

Habits: The moth is easily disturbed in the day. It comes to light.

Foodplant: It feeds from a slight web on the leaves of cabbages, cresses and a wide range of other crucifers. It pupates in an open netted cocoon on the foodplant or in the leaf litter.
