Habitats: Damp woodland, damp pasture, fens and marshes.
Habits:
Foodplant: The larva mines a leaf of Bittersweet or sometimes Deadly Nightshade, Chilean Potatoe-tree or Tomato growing in a sheltered site. It makes conspicuous greenish-white blotches. Pupation takes place in an open netted cocoon in the leaf litter.
